Media Solution business unit is undoubtedly the No. 1 cinema system solution provider in Asia. RNR has built up more than 2,500 screens in Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Myanmar over the past eight years securing Hollywood and local content distribution on time for their openings.
Monoplex builds a new sustainable ecosystem by converting traditional asset heavy cinema exhibition business into an asset light global content distribution network. It offers an on- property, custom, & convenient venue to enjoy Hollywood and local movies at the same time as traditional theatres. Just as Airbnb runs the hotel business without building hotels, Monoplex designs, deploys, and operates premium cinemas in all sorts of partners’ spaces, such as hotels, apartment community centers, and corporate venues to help partners leverage their under-utilized spaces with this unique amenity. There are more than 10 Monoplex sites up and running and Monoplex partners with Hyundai construction, Hyundai motors, Samsung Electronics, Marriott, and Homeplus in Korea. Monoplex is planning on entering the US market during the 2H 2023.
Cine Marketplace 2.0 (CMP 2.0) is RNR’s unique content IP management/trading platform, a blockchain-embedded entertainment fintech platform. Evolved from CMP 1.0 which is the content management system of Monoplex, CMP 2.0 provides the ownership data of content IP to the public and enables individual to own the content IP partially. In addition to partial ownership, CMP 2.0 also provides the marketplace for transactions of partial ownership. It also has a function of granting/licensing contnet IP to creators so that they can use the IP for their derivative work including merchandise. CMP 2.0 will be launched in 2025.
