Riady is the founder of INDOxyz surf brand in Los Angeles.
The lifestyle brand consists of luxury Surf Resorts and premium Consumer Beverages. INDOxyz surf resorts are primarily located in Bali, Indonesia and its coffee ready to drink beverages are sold in premium natural stores Erewhon, Farm Shop, Pavilions, Vons, Albertsons throughout Southern California.
Riady sourced and advised OUE Limited, one of Singapore's largest property firms, to acquire the iconic, 1.4-million-square-foot U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles for $367.5 million in 2013 which was subsequently sold to Silverstein Properties in 2021. He remains an advisor to OUE Limited.
Riady started his career with PT. Lippo Karawaci Tbk., Indonesia's largest real estate company. He was promoted to Vice Chairman and CEO of Southeast Asia's largest shopping mall owner (65-plus operating malls, with 35 more in the pipeline) — Lippo Malls Indonesia — and CEO of the mixed-use developments unit St Moritz. His experience includes acquisition, design, construction, finance, leasing, sales, property management and investor relations.
Riady's grandfather is Mochtar Riady, founder of Lippo Group.
Riady received his bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton and graduated from the UCLA-NUS Executive MBA program with an MBA from both the UCLA Anderson School of Management and National University of Singapore.
Riady is a board member of the Asia Society Southern California, UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate and the UCLA Anderson Center for Global Management; is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers; and has been featured in Forbes and on CNBC.
